I provide Tele-mental Health services, please contact the office for more information.
I utilize attachment theory in session with clients as a way to help them draw connections to past critical incidences may be impacting their current life goals, careers, relationships, and overall mental and physical well-being. Along with Attachment theory I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help clients reframe their negative thinking patterns that influence their mental health. When not working with clients, you can find me drinking coffee, reading, cooking, taking a short run, or listening to music.
My goal as a therapist is to meet people where they are, hold their stories with care, and partner with them to create sustainable change. I currently work as an Associate Professional Counselor and I am pursuing my Ph.D. at Auburn University in Counselor Education. I have been serving my community in a professional capacity for three years. I have experience with clients who are seeking treatment for a variety of circumstances including; depression, anxiety, living with a life-threatening illness, coping with disability, trauma, grief, non-suicidal self-harm, and bipolar disorders.
