I, Evan M. Collins, attended Arizona State University where I graduated Magna Cum Laude (2021) with my undergraduate degree in Sociology with a minor in Political Science; and I have completed my masters degree, receiving Summa Cum Laude honors in Auburn University’s Clinical Mental Health Counseling program. I am currently working to complete my national certification examination and pursue my licensure hour requirements in order to become a licensed clinical mental health counselor. I am passionate about advocating for the needs of those who are living with recognized and unrecognized trauma, and my approach is heavily informed by the work of trauma-informed story / narrative therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and relational-cultural therapy. With these driving influences I support each client’s growth while recognizing their inherent uniqueness, their divine dignity, and the sacredness of their lived experiences being brought into the therapeutic relationship that is built between myself and those seeking counseling support.
