I graduated from Auburn University with a Bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Studies, followed by a Master of Arts in Teaching. After spending ten years in the field of education, I felt called to shift my professional path and pursue my passion for supporting others in a different way. I went on to earn my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from LaGrange College and have since trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy.
As a person-centered therapist, I believe the foundation of effective therapy is a trusting, accepting, and collaborative relationship. I view it as a sacred privilege to sit with clients and walk alongside them in their healing journey. My therapeutic approach is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), which emphasizes the connection between our thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. I am passionate about helping clients recognize patterns in their lives and identify areas where they have the power to make meaningful changes.
I’m particularly passionate about supporting individuals facing relationship challenges, anxiety, life transitions, as well as trauma work. I strive to create a safe, empowering environment where meaningful healing and lasting growth can occur. My approach combines warmth and practical tools, helping clients move forward with increased clarity, confidence, and resilience.
