Hi, I’m Molly Stretch!
I’ve always had a passion for supporting others and helping them work through life’s challenges with empathy, understanding, and authenticity. I believe that healing begins when people feel truly seen and supported, and my goal as a clinician is to create a space where that can happen. I graduated from the University of West Georgia with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a minor in Management, and I’m currently earning my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at LaGrange College.
Before starting graduate school, I worked as a Certified Peer Specialist, supporting adults with mental health and behavioral needs. That experience strengthened my passion for helping people build coping skills, find resilience, and grow into the best version of themselves. My approach to counseling is holistic and combines Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and a Person-Centered approach. I always aim to meet clients where they are, offering warmth, openness, and respect while tailoring treatment to fit their needs, pace, and goals. I enjoy working with all populations and have a special interest in helping clients manage anxiety, depression, emotional regulation, self-esteem, coping skills, and stress management.
My goal is to create an environment where clients feel comfortable exploring who they are, gaining new insights, and building the confidence to move forward in life.
In my free time, I love being outdoors, hiking, spending time with family and friends, and when the opportunity is available, storm chasing with my partner.
